Calvary is a place where God radically rescues the world through His Son, Jesus Christ. It is a place of pain, sorrow, tragedy and forgiveness. Calvary is where we find the cross. And in the cross-work of Christ we get an inside look at the heart of our Heavenly Father and His intention for lost humanity. An intimate reflection of Calvary reveals a place where grace is still amazing.

Calvary Baptist Church, in downtown Spartanburg, SC is seeking to be just that type of place. It is our desire to be a conduit of God's grace to the hurting world. We really believe that it is our privilege to spread the fame of our AWESOME GOD by impacting lives for eternity right now!

	Sunday Morning... The foundational principle of stewardship is: God is the Creator of everything and therefore the Owner of everything! God has simply called us to manage well His house while we are here. God has gifted us tremendously and now it is our responsibility to use what He has given for the Kingdom.
	Wednesday Evening... Jesus' negative word to the church at Ephesus was "you have abandoned your first love." What did they do, or fail to do? Paul's letter to these believers is insightful for the church of today. We must not drift and eventually forsake our first love.
